MicroLink USB
includes the same HART modem used in our RS232 MicroLink
(101-0005) with a USB interface to your
computer.
It is common for Laptop computers to not have an RS232 serial port.
In this case a
USB HART interface may be required. Typically an RS232 to USB adapter
cable will not work with an RS232 modem/HART interface. HART modems use
the RS232 handshake lines to control communications and handshake timing
is critical for a successful HART transaction. Our USB drivers,
included with MicroLink, ensure that your HART modem will maintain
compatibility with your HART software.
MicroLink conforms to FCC part 15, class B and is CE certified.
