Installing
a MicroPulser 1000 on a flow meter provides precision electronic flow
information to flow dependant equipment such as odorant injection
systems and sample rate controllers. At 1000 pulses per
revolution, monitoring equipment will get continuous updates even at
extremely low flow or index shaft rotation rates. An odorant
injection system set to inject proportional to flow may temporarily stop
injection if no flow pulses are received after a specified time.
If the flow is low, and not stopped, the odorant injection rate may be
inaccurate. Low resolution pulsers often confuse monitoring
equipment into thinking there is a no-flow condition, when in fact, due
to the slow index speed, the time between pulses is the problem. |

The
MicroPulser 1000M has matched outputs to provide flow information to two
devices from the same pulser; such as a flow computer and a sample rate
controller, or two flow computers at a custody transfer metering station. |
